Scrounginess McStroh and The Amazing Front Hunks (Bro.Jack and Bill Belchers' band) also played at this gig (didn't get captured on tape to my knowledge) The Amazing Front Hunks were the opening act. We did the first 3 songs as The Russell Bros. I had just written a few songs and Dan asked me to open. The 5 songs he does by himself (trks. 4-8) are (to my knowledge) the only recordings where he played live with the Akai 2 trk. He would pre-record 2 guitar parts, play the Akai through 1 guitar amplifier, and then play the lead on top live through another.
